Himalayan cedar has a very unique fragrance that is rather difficult to describe.  It has been described as spiritual, light and transcending.  Some consider it to be an aphrodisiac due to its grounding and inspiring qualities.  It is warming, comforting, uplifting, reviving and toning.  In the past it has been known as Tibetan cedar for its common use in temples.  Himalayan cedar has a longer lasting scent than the other cedars do.  Used in blends it will add to the longevity of other oils as well.
